One Llama launched their new Internet Radio Station search engine yesterday. Doriano Carta of Mashable does a great job reviewing the site in his article Radio OneLlama Scours the Web for Radio.
For all you One Llama fans you will surely notice that the Free Radio application is new for the One Llama team, but not too far a departure from its music analytics roots. Under the covers the Llama is quitely monitoring hundreds of thousands of radio stations and using its core recommendation technology it is able to select radio stations it thinks you may like. In the future expect to see the "best of" the old play list site make its way back into the radio application. For example, as Doriano suggests it would be cool to have radio widgets, recommended music lists based on the currently playing song, sharing capability and much more. Make sure you give Team Llama feedback on what features you miss and want to see prioritized.
In the mean time, they are in private beta. I have 15 invites left if anyone is interested in tuning into Radio One Llama. Just drop me an email.
